Valerie has commercialized and litigated, managed and settled hundreds of intellectual property cases prior to, and up through, trial. She has litigated cases in Texas, Colorado, Arizona, New Jersey, Tennessee, Florida, California, and Puerto Rico and has represented Fortune 500 companies, small companies, and start-ups on both sides of the “v”.
Valerie has assisted in litigating, analyzing, and prosecuting numerous trademark and patent applications and registrations and has registered numerous trademarks and copyrights. She has taken over a hundred depositions and obtained favorable outcomes for her clients both at trial and prior to trial, including the dismissal of a case in its entirety on a motion to dismiss which also resulted in the awarding of attorneys’ fees for her client.
She has argued multiple cases in front of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and worked on appeals in front of the Third and Ninth Circuit Appellate Courts. She currently has multiple cases pending in front of the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
